Chief Executive Officer with Chhattisgarh Biofuel Development Authority (CBDA), Department of Energy, Government of Chhattisgarh, Raipur.
Prior to this served as Head (Business Operations) with IndianOil-CREDA Biofuels Limited, a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Currently heading CBDA in scaling GOBARdhan and implementing CG-CBG Policy, 2026.
Lead member in production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) jointly with CSIR-IIP, Dehradun and successful flying of India’s first bio-jet fuel powered aircraft in August, 2018. This SpiceJet operated Bombardier Q400 aircraft’s right engine was filled with 75 pc aviation turbine fuel and 25 pc of biojet fuel, produced from tree borne oilseed crops grown in Chhattisgarh. Similar trials successfully conducted in AN-32 aircraft of IAF.
As a Researcher, working on several R&D projects on bio-energy with CSIR-IIP, Dehradun, IIT-Bhilai and BARC, Mumbai.
Working actively in Compressed biogas, advanced biofuels, drop-in-fuels and biomass based Green Hydrogen production.
Credit of regularly publishing scientific articles in peer reviewed International Science Journal.
