Event Rental Refund & Cancellation Policy
Purpose & Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs cancellations, transfers, refunds, and credits for event rentals, bookings, and related services provided by International Solar Alliance (“Company”, “we”, “us”). It applies to all customers, attendees, and purchasers unless a specific event page or written agreement states otherwise.
Definitions
Please note that all event rentals and services are non-refundable. Once you have successfully registered or purchased rentals or services for an event, we are unable to provide a refund if you choose to cancel. This policy applies to all events hosted or managed by Software Technology Parks of India.
- Customer / Orderer: Person or entity that books or pays for services or rentals.
- Event: Any conference, exhibition, workshop, rental, or activity organised, managed, or presented by the Company.
- Services / Rentals: Venue hire, equipment rental, staffing, design, installation, or other contracted services.
- Original Payment Method: The payment instrument used by the Customer.
No-Refund / No-Cancellation (Default Rule)
Unless an event page or written agreement expressly provides otherwise, all sales are final. Orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once payment is confirmed.
Registrations are non-transferable except where permitted in writing by the Company.
Exceptions & Event-Specific Terms
If an event page or written agreement specifies a different cancellation or refund policy, that event-specific policy shall govern.
Permitted Cancellations (When Allowed)
- Requests must be submitted in writing to info[at]isa[dot]int
- Requests must be made within 30 days of the original registration/payment date unless specified otherwise
- No cancellations accepted within 45 days of the event date
- Cancellation fees may apply as stated on the event page
Failure to Avail Services
Failure to attend an event for any reason does not entitle you to a refund, credit, or transfer unless expressly stated otherwise.
Transfers
Registrations and purchases are non-transferable unless expressly permitted in writing.
Administrative fees may apply.
Digital Goods & Services
Digital products are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Postponement & Rescheduling
If an event is postponed, your registration remains valid for the rescheduled date.
Refunds will be provided only if explicitly promised in writing.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the Original Payment Method within 7–10 business days, subject to bank or payment provider timelines.
Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for failure due to events beyond reasonable control. Remedies may include rescheduling, credit, or refund at the Company’s discretion.
Fees, Taxes & Deductions
Applicable taxes, gateway charges, and bank fees may be deducted as required by law or payment providers.
Disputes & Governing Law
This Policy is governed by Indian law. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
