Atul Srivastava

Mr. Atul Srivastava is a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in steel manufacturing, having worked across mid-sized and large integrated steel plants. He currently serves as Senior Vice President – Technical Services & Quality Assurance at Welspun Corp Limited. He possesses extensive expertise across the steel manufacturing value chain, specialising in the development of steel for line pipe, structural, defence, construction and mining applications. He actively leads the development of advanced products, including carbon manganese pipelines for hydrogen transportation, and has a strong background in innovation-driven research and product development. He has been associated with several research programmes contributing to industry advancement and is actively involved in establishing the state-of-the-art Welspun Research Center (WRC). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has completed the Executive Management Program from MIT Sloan School of Management. He regularly participates in national and international conferences on steel manufacturing and its applications. He has also been appointed as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).
